Tindakan tersebut akan mengakibatkan proses penilaian halal haram sesuatu makanan itu akan diorientasikan kepada keuntungan.
Mungkin kebarangkalian barang-barang makanan yang diragui kehalalannya disahihkan HALAL kerana mendapat bayaran yang lumayan .

KJ questioned Fong over Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's recent announcement that all Pakatan's state assemblypersons in the state will be given an allocation of RM500,000.
"The allocation is only meant for Pakatan state assemblypersons. I want to know whether the same allocation will be given to the BN state assemblypersons on the principle of justice?" asked Khairy.
Fong, who has earned the reputation as the 'cili padi' in the house, retorted to the Rembau MP with her trademark fiery oratory skill.
"I agree that the allocation is not party's money but the rakyat's money. However, before the March 8 polls, the BN also gave the allocations to its state assemblypersons only," she said.
Khairy stood up and tried to rebut Fong at this point but the ‘cili padi' did not let up.
"Before you make any comment, please find a mirror to see yourself first. If you don't have a mirror, please find a bucket of water...
"For the past 50 years, we didn't get a single cent!" she said to the applause from the opposition MPs who were thumping the table.

Green Potatoes
A bout Green Potatoes Green = vegetables = good, right?Not when it comes to potatoes.Here's an important piece of information that my mother taught me years ago, but fewer and fewer people these days seem to know about. Green in potatoes indicates the presence of a rather harmful toxin. When you see patches of green in your potatoes as you peel them, cut out the green parts entirely and discard them. What is the green? Actually it's chlorophyll. Not bad for you at all. But the chlorophyll indicates that the potato has been exposed to sunlight. And where the potato has been exposed to light is where a natural toxin in the potato (solanine) becomes concentrated at harmful levels. So, never store your potatoes on the counter. Always keep them in a cool, completely dark place. According to the Wikipedia, deep-frying potatoes at a high temperature (306°F) effectively lowers the level of toxins. But boiling them (212°F) has no effect. Best to stay on the safe side and just cut away the green parts. The NIH website mentions that the potato sprouts can also have concentrated solanine, so those too should never be eaten.

While other law makers and their spouses were issued official invitations to attend the opening of the 12th Parliament session by the King Mizan Zainal Abidin tomorrow, Opposition Leader Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (Permatang Pauh-PKR) was not.
PKR won the most parliamentary seats of Pakatan Rakyat parties when its candidates won 31 parliamentary contests. DAP and PAS won 28 and 23 seats, respectively.

12th Parliament
The “political tsunami” 12th Parliament elected on March 8, 2008 convenes today for the swearing-in of the 222 elected Members of Parliament and the election of the Speaker and two Deputy Speakers.
Tomorrow, the Yang di Pertuan Agong will officially declare open the 12th Parliament with a royal address which represents the policy speech of the government.
On Wednesday, question time and debate will begin.
There are great expectations of the new Parliament. Let its curtain rise.

No, we are not talking about the popular TV series.
We are talking about Khor Toyo's wife, Zaharah Kechik, and wives of other former politikus of the Barisan Nasional government, as narrated by Citizen Nades and Terence Fernandez today, titled: RM10m gone in 3 days.
The duo exposed that three days after their husbands lost power to rule Selangor, the wives got into the act – plotting to dissolve the Association of Wives of State Assemblymen and Members of Parliament in Selangor (Balkis) -- touted as a welfare body -- and remove almost RM10 million from its bank accounts.
According to documents sighted by theSun, Khir Toyo's wife had on March 11 -- three days after the GE2008 Polling Day -- convened an extraordinary general meeting of the committee to dissolve Balkis and close its bank accounts.
The following day, the accounts were closed, with the money transferred to another account and then to Bakti – the federal Organisation of Wives of Ministers which Balkis is affiliated to.
Subsequently, on March 13, the former exco members of Balkis issued a notice of dissolution to the Registrar of Societies (ROS), which included amending the constitution of Balkis and establishing a new organisation – Balkis-BN, is among the names suggested.
“This was to prevent the Balkis premises (Kompleks Wawasan Balksi - KWB) and the association itself from being taken over by the new state government,” said theSun quoting an insider. “Once this was done, then the money will be transferred back to the new organisation,” the insider added.
However, the ROS in a letter stated that Balkis' application for dissolution was incomplete and gave it 30 days to furnish additional information.
When that surfaced, Selangor Mentri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim intervened and wrote to the ROS to question the validity of the decision to dissolve Balkis.
Legal experts quoted by theSun are saying that, by right, following the events of March 8, the exco headed by Zaharah should have convened an emergency meeting to discuss the handing over of Balkis to a new exco – with the new president being Abdul Khalid’s wife Salbiah Tunut.
As it is, sources in the state government argue that since Mohamad Khir is no longer MB, Zaharah is no longer the president and has no power whatsoever to dissolve the association or liquidate its funds. Incidentally, the constitution also states that the organisation must remain apolitical.
I am now checking if there are also Desperate Housewives in Penang.
